SkyWater Search Partners is looking for a Sr. Project Manager for a great client of ours in the West Metro. This would be a full time permanent role.

Job Description:

  • Manage, train and recruit team of Project Managers and Carpenters
  • Completion of projects on-time, on-budget, and with high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Key point person for customer relationships; including participation at pre-construction meetings, attendance at weekly conference calls, and other customer site visits and meetings
  • Establish daily and weekly operating procedures for team of Project Managers and ensure ongoing compliance; support team of Project Managers to achieve their goals and train / coach as needed
  • Develop ongoing training opportunities for team of Carpenters; hold regular labor meetings; drive employee morale; ensure compliance with key field expectations; ongoing recruiting of labor
  • Actively seek out opportunities to innovate operation, including through the use of technology
  • Deepen our bench across all trades
  • Effective collaboration with other departments in the Company; including supply chain, sales & design, and other operational units
  • Implementation and compliance with safety policies and procedures, including participation on the Company Safety Committee
  • Engagement on special project-based teams to achieve unique goals particular to those projects

Key Deliverables:

  • Achieve profitability goals of division
  • Perform monthly analysis of financial and operational performance, including by job and carpenter, develop corrective action plans where needed
  • Develop and maintain a KPI dashboard for the division
  • Improve our timecard and payroll reporting process for labor
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Client Services to implement a regular customer survey process to gauge customer satisfaction levels
Desired Skills and Experience:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 10 years of management experience, including experience managing a team of project managers
  • At least 15 years’ experience in construction, with considerable background in interior finish carpentry
  • Experience managing employee labor, including systems with payroll reporting and regular management meetings of employees
  • Extremely responsive to customer need
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office suite (including Outlook, Excel, Word) and Microsoft Project
  • Proven implementation ability and demonstrated experience
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment
