Responsibilities
- Perform manual journal entries and prepare supporting documentation on a timely basis
- Reconcile, maintain, and analyze general ledger accounts on a monthly basis, including prepaid assets, fixed assets, accrued expenses, deferred costs, and others as necessary
- Coordinate general accounting functions on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure financial statements are accurate and timely
- Prepare various financial statement schedules for monthly and quarterly reporting
- Partner with internal & external auditors to provide support and analysis
- Other duties as assigned by management
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting or equivalent work experience and 1+ year of related accounting experience
- Experience with month-end close processes and account reconciliations, and solid knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with varying levels of experience and backgrounds, both internally and externally
- A natural curiosity with the ability to take initiative, use strong analytical and communication skills, and drive accounting efficiencies while maintaining attention to detail
