Accounting Analyst
SkyWater is currently partnering with a private banking company here in the Twin Cities. Our client focuses on financial services for the agricultural industry and is in “growth mode.” They are looking to bring on an Accounting Analyst who is eager to make an impact. This is a hybrid position where you will get exposure to GL activity, work with bank institutions and be responsible for reconciling daily transactions. The ideal candidate will have a background in either AP/Banking/Accounting. If you are thinking about exploring new growth opportunities, this could be something worth looking into!
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing the AP and AR of each loan originated
- Verify payment information and print and issue checks
- Initiate payments in online banking systems via ACH and wire upon confirmation of payment instructions
- Receive, research, and resolve a variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons
- Prepare and distribute customer statements
- Reconcile bank statements and activity with loan transactions
- Accurately apply loan payments in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Assist with month end closing and preparation of performance and investor reporting
