The ideal candidate is a Senior Accountant who is ready to take that next step into a management position. While you won’t have any direct reports, you’ll be responsible for owning the whole plant process and reporting into corporate. Manufacturing and costing experience is a must. Responsibilities

Preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements. Maintenance of accurate and reliable product costs including preparation of quarterly margin reports. Provide target costing information for customer quotations working closely with engineering and sales personnel. Responsible for working with operations team to find cost reduction opportunities in operations Track and report on key plant operating measurements. Oversee payroll function to ensure accurate and timely processing including all monthly, quarterly and year-end requirements. Maintain payroll data base integrity. Communicate performance of hourly and salaried bonus programs to employees. Oversee and audit quarterly physical inventories. Monitor and review inventory balances on a continuous basis. Provide financial justification (ROI) analysis for capital projects. Prepare annual financial plan. Annual financial statement audit/review; assistance with outside auditors. Prepare and submit annual property tax return and other government reports, as directed by the Director of Finance. Oversee plant compliance to corporate record retention policy. Assist Corporate Accounting with resolving Accounts Payable or Receivable discrepancies.
