Accounting Manager

Responsibilities
- Assist in leading monthly and year-end financial close cycle, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Manage monthly activities associated with account reconciliations, inventory, fixed assets, incentives, prepaids, accruals, and payroll entries.
- Manage annual financial audit and relationship with external audit partners.
- Oversee tax compliance and tax provision, working with external tax partners.
- Research and summarize relevant accounting guidance to ensure compliance with GAAP.
- Develop and execute financial policies, procedures, and internal controls for the enterprise.
- Participate in certain FP&A deliverables including monthly financial reviews, reporting, and data analysis.
- Set processes and controls to ensure proper inventory accounting and valuation.
- Assist with M&A due diligence and post-close integration.
- Drive continuous process improvement within the finance organization.
- Perform other responsibilities as requested.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ years in Finance or Accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
- Distribution and/or manufacturing experience a plus
- Experience in data visualization and business intelligence a plus
