Accounting Manager
I am partnering with a growing manufacturing that is looking to hire an Accounting Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone who is currently a Senior Accountant and ready to take that next step in their career. The Accounting Manager will report to the Director of Accounting and manage the general ledger, assist with month end close, forecasting and budgeting.
My client is looking for someone who will be a hands on manager, help mentor the department employees, and help drive change.
Responsibilities
- Supervise 2 accountants (accounts payable and accounts receivable)
- Oversee the day-to-day accounting
- Work closely with the Director for month end close
- Participate in yearly audit
- Look at current processes and see if there is availability for improvements
- Forecasting and Budgeting
- Provide financial support to different department heads
- ad hoc projects as assigned by leadership
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Exposure to the manufacturing industry
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
