SkyWater is partnering with an IT Services company in the Twin Cities that is looking to hire an AR Manager. This super fun company partners with many Fortune 100 businesses and has a great culture! The ideal candidate will be excited to lead a team of four and ready to invest in coaching and mentorship to build comradery across this amazing group. You will report to the Controller and go into the office 2 days/week. If you have 3+ years of experience and excel in a leadership position, this might be a great fit! 

Responsibilities

  • Specific Duties & Responsibilities: Project Administration, Accounting, Reporting and Management= 45%
  • Manage general ledger and operations system based on project requirements including project, template, and budget approvals
  • Provide general ledger and operations support in the change management process including testing
  • Onboarding new customers, which includes providing new customer key information such as W-9 and banking information for payment. Also includes working with customer to understand how invoices should be submitted and setting up access to customer portals as needed
  • Obtain and/or provide documentation and document control as required
  • Data management involving Bailiwick systems and tools to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Assist with data collection for status and financial reporting purposes
  • Managing daily cash application
  • Managing daily AR aging reconciliation to general ledger
  • Reporting on various metrics used to measure success of team and tasks
  • Month end results
  • Unapplied cash progress
  • Billing queue status
  • Collections/Aging
  • Assist with issuing invoices and credits as necessary
  • Work with customers and project teams to ensure timely payments on outstanding invoices
  • Problem solving when situations arise to ensure accurate resolution/accounting
  • Monthly Use Tax analysis
  • Assist with annual audits Coaching, Mentoring and Leadership of Accounts Receivable Project Accounting Team =25%
  • Resource planning; hiring (as needed), on-boarding and training of new team members; providing work direction and work assignments; ensure tasks are being executed timely, completely and accurately; keeping team informed of pertinent information and goals; providing ongoing training as needed; giving informal and formal performance feedback; and being available to assist team with tasks during peak times. Customer Contact and Project Communication = 20%
  • Interface with customer to verify accurate invoicing
  • May contact customers to inquire about and manage past due invoices
  • Participate in project-related or other internal meetings as required
