Assistant Controller
Title: Assistant Controller
Location: Eden Prairie, MN
Hybrid: 3-4 days a week onsite
SkyWater is partnering with a growing mid-sized construction and engineering firm that is looking to hire an Assistant Controller onto their team. The Assistant Controller will be reporting directly to the controller and responsible for managing the general ledger, accounts payable, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities
- Manage a team that oversees the general ledger and accounts payable function
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Assist in the development and monitoring of annual budgets and forecasts.
- Assist with the annual external audit process
- Reviews fixed asset records, including all additions, disposals, and gains/losses on disposal
- Review, analyze, and check payroll reports for accuracy and record necessary adjustments or corrections
- Ad hoc tasks as assigned by management
Desired Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of accounting experience (with at least 3 years within the construction industry)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
