Our client is a rapidly growing (200%+ growth YOY) organization that specializes in the funding of commercial properties related to energy efficiency.  They’re a leader in this space nationally and have a strong local presence in MN.  Based on the recent growth, they are adding to their sales team. More specifically, they’re looking for a Business Development Executive who is energized and passionate about business-to-business selling. This individual will be responsible for generating qualified leads both nationally and in the upper Midwest, while maintaining a strong pipeline of prospective accounts.  This role will report to the COO and will work cross-functionally with other teams across the company.

This position compensates well through a competitive base salary + commissions along with a strong benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Generating new leads through targeted accounts both nationally and in the upper Midwest
  • Familiarize yourself with internal databases to generate appropriate leads
  • Calling on commercial & enterprise level accounts
  • Educating potential clients on programs and service offerings

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience
  • Self starter and motivated individual focused on business growth
  • Experience calling on national accounts is preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively both internally and with prospective clients
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships
