Business Development Manager
SkyWater is partnering with a well-established, privately-owned, market leading company in the upper Midwest. They’re looking to bring in a high-performing Business Development Manager who will be responsible for supporting their current demand and identifying new business possibilities to pursue in the area. This person will report directly to the President of the company.
As their Business Development Manager, you will play a strategic role in securing new contract agreements within the multi-property management space while continuously maintaining and improving relationships with an existing client base. Responsibilities
- Implement and support new and existing client relationships to achieve organizational goals
- Schedule meetings with clients to facilitate future renewal conversations
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout the upper Midwest
- Negotiate multi-year lease and rental agreements on behalf of the company with multi-family property owners and property management firms
- Develop strategic business plans to grow client base and overall company revenue
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure satisfactory partnerships
- Stay informed about industry trends to understand potential impacts on the business and to make informed decisions that capitalize on opportunities
- Attend and participate in relevant trade shows to maintain and grow the company presence in the region
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Business Administration, Management, or another related field
- 3+ years of sales experience preferably within the property management industry
- Strong history of meeting and exceeding revenue goals while maintaining a book of business
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating multi-year contract agreements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Good with numbers and a quick learner
