Business Development Manager – Renewable Energies
SkyWater is partnering with a fast-growing, innovative renewable energy company located in Bloomington, Minnesota. For over 14 years the company has provided their customers with high-quality turnkey energy solutions, ensuring that solar continues to work for the businesses that can benefit from it the most. Their knowledgeable team of engineers take a partnership approach to each project, analyzing the customer’s site for solar suitability; determining the true energy costs and solar savings potential.
The role of Business Development Manager is a key member of the Company’s sales team, reporting directly to the Senior VP of Business Development. The Business Development Manager is someone who is highly competitive, goal oriented, and can sustain high levels of activity via phone conversations, in-person meetings, and independent marketing strategies. This individual is responsible for all aspects of the sales process including identifying and reaching out to prospective clients, a consultative sales process including educating the client, and delivering solutions.
The role will be supported by the company’s resources including personal sales support, administrative support, marketing team, and skilled engineering team.
** This role is on-site at the Bloomington Office**
Desired Skills and Experience
- Sales Experience (10 years minimum)
- Preferred prior Solar, investment, or Commercial Real Estate experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage full sales cycle from cultivation to fulfillment
- Work at Bloomington office; minimal travel
