Founded over 100 years ago, our client is a family-owned company with a storied past and exciting future. We’re looking for a Change Management and Communications Partner to support our teams as we undergo dynamic and enterprise-wide change. The change agent in this role will work with leaders across the company to understand the scope of what’s being asked of our team members, assess stakeholders, and understand group dynamics. Based on the needs of each team and change, they’ll develop change management and communication plans to encourage successful, long-term change adoption. We’re looking for a curious mind who can engage in conversations with people of all types and has experience (and intuition) in understanding how to use psychology, change strategies and carefully crafted communication to change minds.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with leaders and departments across the company to help facilitate adoption of changes that impact our employees
  • Facilitate workshops, interviews and other information gathering techniques to understand complex change issues and stakeholder needs
  • Evaluate stakeholder readiness, potential sources of resistance and cultural or behavioral gaps that should be addressed to get from current to desired state
  • Assist with strategic change planning before, during and after key changes to engage stakeholders, activate change champions and ultimately cement new behaviors
  • Plan and execute communication campaigns to support change initiatives; partnering with our internal communications and creative teams as needed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key leaders and change stakeholders across the organization, establishing trust and ongoing partnership
  • Assist with the development and delivery of training programs that support change management initiatives, adoption of a common change language and framework and process improvements to align with our enterprise change goals
  • Create and manage measurement systems and reporting to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of individual changes
  • Promote Change Management best practices and continually seek to improve the function at the organization

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in a change management or communications-related role
  • Experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research and developing insights
  • Experience leading and supporting change on complex, organization-wide initiatives
  • Experience facilitating adoption of new behaviors across a wide variety of stakeholder groups
  • Proven track record of leading through influence, building strong relationships
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills – you’re not afraid to dig in and bring potential solutions forward
  • Innate curiosity and willingness to become an expert in our change management approach
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort working within rapidly changing environment
  • Change Management Professional certification a plus (or interest in becoming certified)
