Commercial Sales Executive
Our client is a well-known provider of flooring solutions throughout the Midwest. They are seeking to add a Commercial Sales Executive to their salesforce to help build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships throughout the state of Minnesota. This opportunity has a new business development aspect to it, meaning this individual will generate revenue streams through uncovering new commercial construction projects and build a portfolio of business with general contractors throughout the state. The ideal candidate will need to have a proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. In addition, to having a proven track record of success in identifying, qualifying, and closing new business. It’s a requirement that this individual has previous flooring experience. This position will be reporting directly to and work closely with the President of the company. They compensate “very-well” through competitive base salary plus uncapped commissions, company vehicle, and other benefits.
Must be located in the Twin Cities or surrounding areas within 30 – 45 miles away.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Min. 3+ years of construction, building materials, or related sales experience.
- Strong preference in previous flooring experience.
- Experience calling on general contractors for commercial construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibility and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
