Controller
I am partnering with a real estate company that is looking to hire a Controller. This is a newly created position and will be reporting to directly to the CEO and be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting and financials for the organization.
The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of accounting experience, strong technical skills, and 2+ years of management experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the general ledger for the organization
- Prepare financial statements , forecasts, and budgets
- Supervise two employees (Senior and Staff Accountant)
- Month End and Year End close
- Prepare for yearly audit
- Ad hoc projects as assigned by CEO
Desired Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of accounting experience
- Strong Technical Skills
- Management experience (2+ years)
