Controller
SkyWater Search Partners is excited to be partnering with a privately held company that services the food industry. This organization is experiencing rapid growth and currently expanding. They currently are outsourcing all their accounting and finance work so this will be the first leadership role in accounting and finance for them, so they are looking for someone who is excited to put their thumbprint on everything. There is a ton of opportunity to define processes and grow the department and the team.
This is a very hybrid (almost remote) role where the person would need to work 1 day a week out of either Albert Lea or Clearwater, MN.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning and implementation of accounting functions to support company's growth objectives
- Collaborate with executive leadership and departmental teams
- Develop and implement policies to optimize financial performance
- Implement new systems and technologies to streamline and enhance operational efficiency across multiple facilities
- Drive the accounting processes and provide strategic financial direction for the company
