Corporate Controller
SkyWater is excited to introduce a fantastic opportunity for a Corporate Controller position. The Corporate Controller role entails overseeing the general ledger, accounts payable, and accounting functions. The ideal candidate should possess over 10 years of progressive experience in leading accounting teams, a strong understanding of GAAP, and proficiency in ERP systems. Additionally, the individual must be proactive, adept at problem-solving, and experienced in navigating large corporate structures.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for corporate general ledger team, to ensure that all requirements of monthly, quarterly and annual close are completed in a timely and accurate manner. Includes oversight of internal allocations, and corporate consolidation.
- Support external reporting, FP&A and field accounting teams to manage financial statements to ensure timely accurate monthly reporting
- Lead management of company financial system, including management of chart of accounts, hierarchies, and related work tags. This includes coordination with administration team to maintain processes around journal entries, security levels and change controls. Also includes working with external reporting and FP&A team to maintain various system generated financial reports.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 10 years' work experience including leading accounting teams and a thorough knowledge of GAAP.
- Must have hands-on experience with a robust ERP system, and expertise working in a large complex corporate structure.
- Strong problem solver with ability to delegate and manage multiple projects.
- Four-year Accounting degree
