Their organization is looking to add an experienced Customer Service Manager that will lead and manage a dedicated team focused on delivering top notch customer service for their clients.  This individual will be responsible for running the daily operations relative to the customer service team, handling internal department requests, shipping & receiving, warranties, programs, order returns, and a variety of other customer related needs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of customer service professionals to deliver exceptional service
  • Create and implement customer support policies and procedures to ensure consistency and efficiency
  • Resolve escalated customer inquiries and complaints promptly and effectively
  • Collaborate with other internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Product Development, etc.) to maintain alignment and deliver a seamless customer experience
  • Monitor customer support metrics and KPIs to identify areas of opportunity and enhance overall performance
  • Drive initiatives to increase customer satisfaction & retention through feedback programs and customer engagement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers
  • Expand knowledge on service trends to capitalize and enhance current service offerings

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of customer service experience – preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or another related field
  • Strong history of leadership and managerial skills to support and develop a high-performing team
  • Ability to analyze data and metrics to drive educated and informed decisions
  • Knowledgeable in using CRM tools and Warehouse Management Systems
  • Experience with international shipping processes, tariffs, and regulations is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service
