Data Governance Manager
We are partnering with a national leader in the retail/CPG industry that is currently building out their data organization. They are now looking for a manager to build out their data governance framework – This is a 0-to-1 role with a huge impact on their core product!
The ideal candidate is someone who will be comfortable in a highly cross-functional environment, and who is looking to set up governance standards and processes in a mid-sized company. They must have previous leadership experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Data Governance team, building out standards and procedures.
- Mentor and train the junior members of the Data Governance team.
- Collaborate with Data Management and the Pricing team.
- Own and manage the Data Governance posture of the entire company.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Master Data Experience within an ERP System, preferably SAP.
- 2+ years of people leadership.
- Experience with Data Governance, not with just Data Quality.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment in the west suburbs
