SkyWater Search is currently working with a premier financial institution in the Twin Cities to add to their growing IT team. This person will be specifically responsible for a Database Engineering team of 4 reporting to the Director of Database Services.

Here’s a few bullet points on what you’d be doing on a day-to-day basis:

• Provide leadership and mentoring for direct reports.
• Set the standard for excellence in all areas of development and production support.
• Set goals for and assign tasks to direct reports.
• Work with IT leadership to explore emerging data technologies and assist developers in upskilling their talent stack.
• Set and assist in production support on-call rotation.
• Write excellent code – including T-SQL, SSIS, and ADF – that is both performant and conforms to coding standards.

What makes you qualified for the role?

• 2 Year college degree/certificate or business-related field preferred.
• 4-5 years SQL Server/ETL experience required.
• 2-3 years supervisory experience or equivalent required
• 1-2 years Azure Data Factory experience preferred.
• Experience with PowerBI, PowerApp, and LogicApps preferred.
• Experience with Azure SQL Technologies preferred.
• Experience in the financial industry preferred.
• Experience with FTP technology preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills required.
