Design Engineer- Fluid Power
This position is responsible for project coordination, design, fit/form/function, and development, in addition to meeting customer requirements and due dates at the best total cost. This position will also assist in creating project drawings, such as electrical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and general arrangement drawings, as needed to support the projects.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with sales, quality, and operations to lead the design and development of new projects to meet customer requirements.
- Supports shop with troubleshooting and testing of projects as needed.
- Support Sales with customer questions/concerns.
- Oversee the Engineering Change Quote/Order process for their projects.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Engineering Design Expertise / Proficient CAD Skills specifically with fluid power systems
- Experienced with hands-on problem solving and troubleshooting prototype builds
- Bachelors degree in engineering preferred
- Project oversight and customer facing experience is a plus
