Director of Cybersecurity
Our client is an established, mid-sized company located in Minneapolis. We have partnered with this organization to find their first Director of Cybersecurity to join their technology leadership team. This is a rare opportunity to join an established organization in a new capacity.
To be a fit for this position, you must have 8+ years of experience with cyber and information security. We are looking for someone with great communication skills, time management skills, and a strong upbringing in company audits, information governance, SOC, and security engineering.
This is a full time, permanent position reporting to the executive leadership team. Our client has a professional work culture that includes a core hour schedule with a casual dress code. This role is hybrid, on-site in Minneapolis.
This candidate must be local to MN, and cannot require sponsorship at this time.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 4 year technical degree
- 8+ years of professional experience as a Cybersecurity professional
- 3+ years with managing a cybersec deapartment and direct reports
- Experience with ISO 27001 and modern information security practices
- Local to Minnesota
- Cannot require sponsorship
