Director of Engineering
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Engineering for a prominent food and beverage manufacturing company. This individual will oversee and drive the engineering initiatives within our production facilities, leading a team to optimize operations, implement innovative solutions, and ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Leadership: Provide strong leadership and strategic direction to the engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance.
- Engineering Strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive engineering strategies that align with the company's overall objectives, emphasizing continuous improvement and technological advancement in manufacturing processes.
- Operational Efficiency: Optimize manufacturing processes, enhancing efficiency, quality, and safety within production while managing costs and resources effectively.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, R&D, and quality assurance, to streamline processes and introduce new technologies or methodologies that enhance production capabilities.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience (X years) in a leadership role within a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in the food industry
- In-depth knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance within the manufacturing industry
- Strategic mindset with the ability to drive innovation and lead change effectively
