Director of Manufacturing
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client to find a Director of Manufacturing for their NW Wisconsin site! The Director of Manufacturing will oversee a team of about 60 across manufacturing, production, maintenance, materials, and machining. This person will also be responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives, growing team members, and implementing lean manufacturing principles at this site. Responsibilities
- Manage & grow team members while promoting development & growth opportunities for employees.
- Oversee daily manufacturing operations while making sure processes are running smoothly.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure budgets, schedules and KPI’s are consistently met.
- Other responsibilities or projects as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience working in manufacturing with at least 3+ years of management experience.
- Experience working in machining, metal fabrication or a related industry.
- Excellent communication skills (both written & verbal).
