Director of Marketing
SkyWater Search Partners is partnering with the Toro Company to identify a Director of Marketing for their Intimidator business unit. The Director of Marketing role is opening due to growth of the business. Robert and Becky Foster founded Intimidator in Batesville, Arkansas in 2010 with the all-American, hardworking values they were raised with. Since then, the company has grown into several brands including Intimidator UTVs, Spartan Mowers, Gourmet Guru Grills, Bad Dawg Accessories, and eNVy Neighborhood Vehicles.
The Director of Marketing will develop the strategic direction for the Intimidator Business with an emphasis on zero turn mower growth. You will lead all marketing functions including strategic planning, annual planning, pricing, promotion, product development, P&L management, marketing communications, parts/accessories, financing and channel strategy. You will be responsible for achieving annual plans in terms of sales, profit contribution, inventory turns, product introductions and strategic imperatives for both whole goods and parts/accessories.
Develop market analysis and lead the long term strategic and annual planning processes for the business.
Set direction for product development projects and multi-generational product planning (MGPP). Works closely with director of engineering and product managers to ensure that projects are properly defined, staffed, managed and meet customer requirements.
Lead and execute on annual marketing plans focused on broadening engagement and strengthening brand relevance in key customer segments.
Ensure that all marketing elements of the annual plan are implemented effectively and on time, including marketing guides, advertising, promotions, direct communications, market research, financing, web site, merchandising materials, trade shows and other initiatives as developed.
React quickly to market dynamics in order to achieve annual sales plan. Work closely with the sales team to implement programs.
Works in conjunction with sales to develop customized marketing plans for distributors and dealers.
Works with marketing communications, customer service, engineering, product managers and sales to get end user input regarding products and promotions. Develop and maintain business tracking processes and analyze data.
Responsible for ensuring the integrity of customer databases and developing programs for optimizing their use (i.e. marketing implementation).
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of industry and trade developments through distributor and dealer contacts, trade publications, seminars and trade shows.
Identifies opportunities for potential joint-venture / acquisition candidates as appropriate.

15+ years of total experience with P&L ownership and focus on strategic planning.
A minimum of 3 years proven experience in managing marketing team activities.
A minimum of 10 years’ cross-functional, broad-based business experience.
Strong analytical skills and has demonstrated superior interpersonal, supervisor and leadership skills for project and team management.
Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, exhibit initiative and be a team player who is fully supportive of divisional and functional objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field. MBA preferred.
Requires relocation to Batesville, AR
