Director of Product Management
Our firm has been retained by a high-growth, PE backed company in Minneapolis to bring on a product management leader. This hire will be the #1 product executive reporting directly to the President and will be responsible for owning product strategy, product management, and product design for the organization. To be successful in this role you must be a polished and dynamic product professional who’s capable of efficiently setting the plan and then rolling up your sleeves and doing the work (not an ivory tower role). It is imperative that this person has extensive experience bringing B2B or B2C technical products (software/data) to market. This company is a category leader in their industry and well positioned for continued growth.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 10+ years relevant experience in product management with a least a few years of developing and mentoring high performing product teams
- Implementing product management processes that enable goal setting / measurement and design and testing
- Comfortable with a fast paced lean environment and have an entrepreneurial spirit
- Be collaborative and able to prioritize, negotiate, and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Must be local to the Twin Cities area and willing work DT MPLS post pandemic (currently remote)
- BS/BA required and an MBA is preferred
