Director of Quality
SkyWater Search Partners has been retained by a leading manufacturing of outdoor power equipment to find a new Director of Quality to oversee five of their facilities in the U.S. As it stands, each of these facilities is utilizing a different QMS and this person will be tasked with driving the consolidation into one cohesive system.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic long-term planning for quality
- Coordinate with Plant Managers to improve systems, training, policies, and continuous improvement
- Develop and implement the strategic quality plan to ensure problem areas are identified
- Develop and maintain new tools and methods to improve quality
- Interact regularly with internal executives and leaders from major customers
- Oversee supplier quality team
- Participate in the gathering of customer feedback to improve satisfaction
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related
- 10+ years of quality within manufacturing
- 5+ years of leadership experience
- Ability to travel up to 50%
Preferences:
- MBA
- Experience within automotive, power sports or equipment manufacturing
- Experience leading quality initiatives across multiple plants
