Director of Software Delivery
We are partnering with a growing company on a newly created position. This is an additional layer to the Engineering org of 40. Our client is looking for a highly engaged and driven candidate with at least 5 years of people management experience paired with an Engineering upbringing in a Software Consulting environment.
This person will be managing development teams, strategically structuring the team as it grows, and working with the leadership team to help with the implementation of applications for clients. Just as important, we need this person to be a people leader and coach to middle management and engineers; helping with intrapersonal situations, grow and develop people, and bring a proven track record of hiring strong, promotable team members.
This is a FULLY REMOTE, direct-hire opportunity with a competitive compensation structure, and a lot of opportunity for growth within the company.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A technical 4-year degree; Master's preferred
- 10+ years of technical experience (software development space)
- 5+ years of People Leadership experience: defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and working cross functionally.
- 3+ years of experience within a Consulting environment: communicating with stakeholders, managing team members, etc.
- Located in the Unites States
- Cannot require Sponsorship.
