Electrical Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client who’s looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. This person will report to the Engineering Manager we placed here and will mainly be responsible for PLC programming custom machinery. The Electrical Engineer will develop & maintain PLC controls, troubleshoot control & electrical issues with products, partner with internal engineering teams & customers throughout project lifecycles, and much more. We’re looking for an Electrical Engineer with PLC programming experience and someone who has experience working within machinery manufacturing (or similar industry). Our client is a small, privately held machinery manufacturer that’s offering a solid compensation package and future growth opportunities within their business!
Responsibilities
- Develop & maintain PLC programs.
- Troubleshoot control & electrical issues when needed.
- Partner with internal engineering teams & customer throughout project lifecycles.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering field (electrical, mechanical, etc.).
- 2+ years of experience as an Electrical, Controls, Automation or similar engineering or technician role (or combination of positions).
- Experience programming PLC’s or HMI’s required.
