Electrical Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with an industry-leading electronics manufacturer in Minneapolis who’s looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team! Our client has been successfully operating for over 45 years and mainly serves the aerospace industry with mission-critical products for some of the largest & most well-known companies in the industry. The Electrical Engineer will play a key role throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept & schematic design through verification & qualification, and manufacturing support of these products. It’s a hands-on role where you’ll be involved in the design, development, testing, and troubleshooting of embedded electronic hardware for aerospace applications. Responsibilities
- Design & develop electrical systems for embedded products (microcontrollers, sensors, etc.).
- Translate customer requirements into system and hardware designs.
- Perform reliability analysis and support qualification & verification testing.
- Partner with manufacturing, quality, and test engineering teams to support production & resolve technical issues.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, test procedures, & design records.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ of circuit design experience or similar electrical engineering experience.
- Experience working in regulated industry a plus (medical device, aerospace/defense, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and time-management abilities.
