Engineering Project Manager
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in Southern Minnesota to find an Engineering Project Manager for their team! The Engineering PM will be responsible for leading capital equipment projects while working closely with company leadership throughout these project lifecycles. This includes justifying equipment costs, maintaining project budgets, adhering to industry standards, and overseeing installation & maintenance of plant equipment. Our client is a Southern Minnesota food producer who’s been steadily growing and recently invested in expanding their site & automating their production equipment. We’re looking for a degreed engineer with experience leading capital equipment projects and someone who has experience in the food industry (dairy, meat, produce, etc.). Responsibilities
- Oversee capital equipment project timelines & budgets.
- Partner with plant leadership and update them on project milestones or changes as needed.
- Work with internal engineering teams throughout project lifecycles and lead cross-functional team members on projects.
- Oversee equipment installation and maintenance of plant equipment.
- Adhere to food industry standards and regulations on projects.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a plant engineer, project engineer, or similar position (or combination of roles).
- Strong communication skills (both written & verbal).
- Experience working in food production or similar GMP environment required.
