Estimator/PM
We are partnering with a growing service-oriented client in the commercial construction sector. We are looking for an experienced Estimator/PM to lead to manage bidding processes and coordinate project activities, ensuring their projects are successful and profitable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue bidding opportunities with local general contractors.
- Conduct detailed takeoffs for waterproofing and air barrier specifications on bid requests.
- Prepare and calculate bids based on takeoff results and company margin requirements.
- Submit finalized bids to general contractors and discuss details when necessary.
- Participate in project reviews for successful bids, both onsite and offsite, as needed.
- Attend weekly internal meetings to review company and project progress.
- Collaborate with the field superintendent to plan field schedules and order materials for awarded projects.
- Work closely with the administrative manager to ensure accurate project worker data for payroll.
- Support the administrative manager in collecting overdue account receivables.
- Engage in after-hours industry networking events.
Key Skills:
- Proficient in bid planning tools such as Plan Swift.
- Experience with analyzing company P&L statements to identify potential project risks.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure all bid deadlines are met.
- Develop precise and competitive bids.
- Secure winning bids while meeting profitability targets.
