One of our industry leading manufacturing clients has retained me to find their next General Manager over the Minnesota operations. 

Position Summary

The General Manager will have multi-site P&L responsibility and will be accountable for a team of 350 people through a team of 6 direct reports. Staff will be in the areas of Engineering, Scheduling, Estimating, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing. This person will be responsible for driving profitable growth while directing, managing and coordinating the resources, specific tasks and related processes for the Project Management, Project Engineering, Engineering, Scheduling, Document Control and Fabrication functions to meet exacting schedule, cost, quality and performance standards.

Professional Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree with a Masters being a plus
  • 10 – 15+ years of increasingly responsible experience in operations 
  • Ideal candidate will have spent time within highly regulated organizations 
  • Current multi-site leadership 
  • Strong leadership and change driving ability 
  • Proven history of implementing metrics and systems to increase profitability 
  • Full P&L ownership (ideally over multiple facilities) 
  • Leadership over a $60M – $90M+ business
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and team building skills
  • Must be local to Greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area
