Our firm has been fully retained by a high-growth, PE backed company in Minneapolis to bring on a sales leader. This hire will be reporting directly to the President and will be responsible for overseeing a distributed team of skilled Sales Representatives. To be successful in this role you must be a polished and dynamic sales leader who’s capable of closing business and implementing best sales practices (not an ivory tower role). It is imperative that this person has a strong understanding of solution/value selling and any exposure to subscription based software or data offerings is a plus.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years relevant experience in a senior sales role with the proven ability to meet and exceed targets
  • Strong operational experience with an understanding of how to best guide the growth of a data and KPI driven business
  • Proven ability to build rapport with clients, understand their business goals, present appropriate solutions, persuade, negotiate and close a sale
  • Strong ability to mentor, coach, manage, and motivate a distributed team
  • Willingness to travel 25-30% nationally
  • Must be local to the Twin Cities area
  • MBA is preferred
