SkyWater Search Partners is partnering with a leading electrical manufacture to find their next HR Manager.  We are looking for someone who can sit on the site leadership team, has the ability to drive strategic initiatives and lead HR staff. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide HR leadership by actively partnering with the senior leadership team and leading HR staff 
  • Manage employee relations issues including facilitating and resolving organizational conflict
  • Manage the performance management process, which includes providing effective training as well as coaching leaders and employees on goal setting and performance management communication/documentation
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and support efforts in order to implement LEAN principles throughout the organization
  • Create and execute effective talent acquisition strategies in order to meet current and future business staffing needs
  • Lead employee engagement efforts.  Proactive engagement with the employee population at all levels. 
  • Manage compensation activity for the business to ensure company pay practices are adhered to and internal and market equity is maintained. Consult with leaders on new job titles and oversee the effectiveness and administration of the incentive program

Qualifications / Skills:

  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience as a HR Business Partner or HR Manager preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proven leadership skills, including experience managing other HR professionals 
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships at all levels
  • Results oriented with strong bias for action
  • Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

Preferred:

  • MBA and/or SPHR certification
  • Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles
