SkyWater is excited to lead an HR Business Partner search with one of our top clients.  The company is a 450-person, rapidly-expanding construction and manufacturing firm with a very optimistic future. They are adding to the HR function to keep up with the growth of the organization, and are building an HRBP model as a result.

The right candidate will be high-energy, employee-centric, relationship-oriented, who wants to be a trusted partner and strategic advisor. You must be passionate about employee development, leadership coaching and guidance, workforce planning, fostering an inclusive culture and creating solutions that enhance employee experience.

This is a hybrid work environment, so qualified candidates must be local to the Twin Cities and be willing to work onsite 3 days/week.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 – $110,000 base salary with bonus potential and an outstanding company benefits package.

Responsibilities

-Collaborate with senior leaders to align HR strategies with business goals, offering expertise in human capital management and organizational design. -Establish strong relationships with employees and leaders, acting as the primary HR resource to address concerns, mediate conflicts, and foster a positive work environment. -Drive initiatives that strengthen a people-first, employee-owned culture, emphasizing well-being, growth, and meaningful employee input. -Partner with managers and Talent Acquisition Specialists to optimize workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, employee development, and succession planning to support organizational growth. -Lead performance management efforts, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback processes, ensuring alignment with the organization's feedback-focused culture.

Desired Skills and Experience

-5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP role. -Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. -In-depth knowledge of HR best practices and multi-state employment laws. -Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and collaboration across all organizational levels. -Proven ability to influence and coach leaders, offering strategic guidance on complex HR matters. -Track record of cultivating and maintaining a positive, inclusive workplace culture. -Expertise in leveraging HR analytics to drive informed, data-based decisions.
