Human Resources Director
SkyWater Search Partners is working with a PE-owned manufacturer with strong roots in southern Minnesota. We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead effective human resources programs and initiatives that are aligned to support and scale overall business objectives.
The ideal candidate for this role should be a well-rounded HR practitioner with strategic thinking abilities, strong organizational skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. The HR Director will optimize HR processes, implement strategies that support business growth, enhance employee engagement, enhance safety and wellness, strengthen relations between staff and managers, and attract the best talent.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Human Resources management, or a related field.
- Human resources leadership experience preferably in a manufacturing organization, including 3 years leading a team of HR professionals
- Professional HR certification such as PHR or SHRM-CP preferred
- Ability to act as an advisor to management on professional and technical issues with a view toward reaching strategic decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to foster a diverse and inclusive environment
- Ability to manage in ambiguous situations with a high degree of flexibility
- Critical thinking skills, problem analysis and problem-solving skills?
- Influence and communication skills with a variety of audiences.?
- Ability to respectfully challenge points-of-view when necessary and offer alternative, constructive suggestions.?
