SkyWater is excited to partner with an innovative manufacturing company located in Minneapolis to secure an Outside Sales Representative

The role of Outside Sales Representative is designed to be a business development role working closely with the entire team as well as driving new business development. The Outside Sales Rep will work closely with new and existing clients in a consultative sales process.

The focus of this role is the effective execution of new business and innovation. This is a pivotal role that will be accomplished by someone who is experienced and proactive in this capacity. This individual must be ambitious and enjoy interfacing with people and possess great people skills.


  • Generate sales within existing and new customers
  • Prepare and process sales quotes and orders
  • Make recommendations to customers based on your inspection and issues identified by addressing any questions, explaining the process and setting expectations.
  • Follow up on company provided leads and generate your own prospects and referrals.
  • Present high-value proposals to sales leaders, trainers and c-level executives.
  • Achieve/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales quota.

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or commercial sales
  • Strong relationship building skills
