Inside/Outside Sales Rep. (Medical Device)
Our client is the largest distributor and full-service provider of medical monitoring equipment in the Midwest. They specialize in being one of three full-service distributors of premium healthcare monitoring products in the US. They’re seeking to add an Outside/Inside Sales Rep. to their salesforce to help build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships in the Midwest & East Coast territories.
This opportunity is a mix of account management, meaning this individual will be inheriting a couple profiting customer accounts, while also being able to uncover new clients through new business development. The ideal candidate will need to have a proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close. In addition, have related sales experience with evolving new/pre-existing client accounts, and pursue sales leads within their assigned territory. This position will be reporting directly and work closely with the Sales Manager.
This is a local, Minneapolis-based position and this person will be onsite at their office.They compensate “very-well” through competitive base salary plus commissions and benefits. The on-target earnings for the person in this position will be on track to realize a “six-figure” total compensation.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Min. 2-4 years of related experience in medical device/equipment sales or selling into hospitals, clinics, and universities.
- Experience using Salesforce
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to drive the sales process from start to finish.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibility and effectively at all levels of the healthcare industry, including executive and C-level.
