Lead Design Engineer
SkyWater Search Partners is partnering with a new machinery manufacturer in the South Metro. They’re a unique company in the AG/Automotive industry making custom equipment. They’re looking to add a seasoned Design Engineer to their team that can wear multiple hats throughout the design and New Product Development process. This person will be in charge of design and working with the customer on any specific needs. If you enjoy a blend of Design Engineering and Project Management, this is the role for you!
Responsibilities
- Working in R&D coming up with new drawings and designs
- Developing new products based on customer needs
- Going out to customer sites developing relationships
- Testing designs and fabricating prototypes
- Managing the project from start to finish in the development phase
- Working with fabricators on the development of each product.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years Design/Project Engineering experience
- Experience with CAD Modeling
- Automotive or Equipment industry preferred
- Good communication skills and strong attention to detail
