Responsibilities
Create and manage customer files with engineering guidelines, designs, and other relevant materials and data.
Using a variety of technical tasks, develop and put into practice production/processing techniques and controls to meet quality criteria as efficiently as possible.
Create and implement production/processing methods and controls to satisfy quality requirements in the most cost-effective way by carrying out a variety of engineering jobs.
Improve and/or modify the order of operations, how the equipment is used, the tooling, and other relevant factors.

Responsibilities
Work closely with engineering and manufacturing to analyze defects and optimize processes
Helps with the investigation of product flaws and, where necessary, makes suggestions for changes to the product, the process, or the quality standards, such as through the Material Review Board (MRB) procedure.
Follow up on the effectiveness of the internal quality control systems and report findings and recommendations to the quality manager, plant staff, and management
Observe and evaluate how process variables affect the outcome
Work on launch teams, problem-solving teams, Six Sigma teams, Lean Manufacturing, etc., as well as other unique projects or teams
Customer visits as needed
Qualifications
Engineering Degree (AAS or Bachelor’s Degree)
1-5+ years of quality related experience
Manufacturing background – automotive is a plus
