Manager Financial Reporting
Overview
We are working with a PE backed company in the suburbs of Chicago on a highly visible role on the controllership team! We know the culture well and can attest to their family first, flexible, and collaborative environment as we’ve placed 4 people here, including the VP/Corporate Controller. They have a hybrid/flexible in office/remote model (in the office ~1-3x/month) and I’m looking for those that can build strong cross functional relationships, dig deep into the data, solve problems and drive process improvements. The role will own the financial reporting process, get them “public company ready” and build a small team
Desired Skills and Responsibilities:
- 5+ years of Accounting experience
- CPA required
- Big 4 or Tier 1 public accounting background preferred
- Ability to partner and work cross functionally with key leaders
- Ability to influence and drive positive change
