Manager – Technical Accounting/Operations
We are working with a large global Fortune 500 company in Chicago with a hybrid work environment (3 in 2 remote) that has an exceptional leadership team and diverse businesses. Not only are they focused on doing things the right way, adding value, investing in infrastructure and developing talent and systems….. they are also sharp, motivated individuals who believe in taking care of their people and we’ve placed 3 people here who all love it for the challenge and the people/leadership.
This role sits in operations and works with the various BU CFO’s so strong communications skills on top of technical accounting is a must. This is a feeder role and they’ve promoted 3 people out of this position into corporate and BU roles so best for someone who is ambitious and looking to grow their career.
Ideal background has a public accounting foundation with large public clients or someone with only industry experience if they are with a public company.

Responsibilities
- Lead a division through technical accounting matters
- Collaborate across multiple functions (finance and non-finance business partners)
- Lead process improvement initiatives
- Present analysis and accounting research to BU owners
