Manufacturing Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with a new manufacturing client in the Fargo-Moorhead area to help them find a Manufacturing Engineer for their team! You’ll be responsible for reviewing and implementing new processes, troubleshooting new and existing equipment, provide engineering expertise on the production floor, reviewing designs before they go into manufacturing, and maintaining manufacturing quality levels. This company has been around for a while, but are growing more than ever before. Don’t miss out on an opportunity like this!
Responsibilities
- Identify and implement process improvements using LEAN and Continuous Improvement techniques to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all manufacturing processes
- Train and mentor others on manufacturing procedures
- Analyze data to suggest proper equipment for production lines.
- Implement new tooling and fixtures
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related
- Multiple internships or over a year of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experienced working with welding/metals
- Strong technical Skills
