Manufacturing Engineer

Our client is a family-owned custom manufacturer and they’re looking to add a manufacturing engineer to their growing team. This person must be able to adapt and work on a cross-functional team. This role requires you to develop fixtures to improve yields, improve manufacturing methods and implement new improvements in their production processes. This is a good opportunity to work with a loyal company that continues to see growth year after year.
Responsibilities
- Developing/improving old and new manufacturing methods
- Analyzing equipment layouts to be most effective and efficient
- Working alongside multiple departments regarding manufacturing processes
- Going back to the design staff to resolve any issues that arise
- Develop new fixtures to improve their production/processes
- Supporting production through continuous improvements
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering or related field
- 4+ years of manufacturing/process experience in a manufacturing environment.
- LEAN manufacturing experience (preferred)
- Experienced in SolidWorks
