Mechanical Engineer
The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for high-level of execution of product design that includes motors, generators and magnetic drives. This role is involved in all stages of the customer order: sales, design, manufacturing, assembly, and test. You will have the opportunity to work closely with manufacturing during the project life-cycle.
Responsibilities
- Mechanical Design of large capital equipment (motors, generators)
- Actively manages project plans for product development
- May oversee work activities of the engineers, drafters, and other support personnel
- Provides technical and engineering support to other departments.
Desired Skills and Experience
- BS Mechanical Engineering degree required
- Minimum of 0 – 3+ years’ experience in the design or development
- Proficient with SolidWorks, AutoCAD
- Design background involving mechanical structural analysis, thermal analysis using both conventional and computerized (ANSYS and CFX) mechanical design
