National Account Manager

Our client is a 25 year old lighting and technology solutions company headquartered here in the Twin Cities. They focus on providing solutions and services to large retail, industrial, commercial and multi-site national accounts. They have recently purchased a new line of technology to continue to provide significant energy and bottom line savings. This individual will be tasked with new business development carrying out the full sales cycle in complex, high dollar deals ($1M+ deals). A strong understanding of lighting technology, HVAC, CPG, and or controls will be considered for this position. This individual will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing. The position comes with competitive base salary with large annual bonus potential, company bonus, office equipment, phone & mileage paid, and generous benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver technical and data driven presentations to c-level execs
  • Build relationships, develop pipeline and close business with new companies
  • Land multisite national/enterprise accounts
  • Work internally with design and implantation teams on deliverables

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 7+ years of national sales experience
  • Previous lighting, HVAC, controls sales
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Proven record of carrying and hitting quotas
