Position Overview: The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing day-to-day operations, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficiency throughout the manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful operations management, a strategic mindset, and excellent leadership skills.
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management to contribute to the overall business strategy.
- Process Optimization:
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
- Analyze operational performance data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of operational staff.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that encourages teamwork and individual growth.
- Resource Management:
- Oversee resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production goals.
- Work closely with procurement and supply chain teams to optimize inventory levels.
- Quality Assurance:
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and implement measures to enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with quality control teams to address and resolve any issues affecting production.
- Health and Safety Compliance:
- Maintain a safe and compliant working environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7 years) in operations management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and managing high-performance teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and best practices.
