Outside Sales Executive – Remote
SkyWater is partnering with a high-growth industrial manufacturing company in MN. They design and engineer custom material handling and conveyor belt solutions for customers across the nation.
This Outside Sales Executive will be expanding business within the conveyance and sortation product lines. They are targeting a hunter to generate leads and close new business. The position can be remote with travel throughout the US. Experience selling into logistics, manufacturing, or retail industries is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Drive sales efforts for conveyance and sortation
- Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company’s product line
- Plan and execute marketing efforts to drive sales, margin, and customer acquisition
- Make customer calls by telephone or video call. Set up meetings to pitch solutions
- Meet revenue goals and sales objectives
- Qualify leads at new and existing customers, converting them into sales
- Manage assigned section of the sales pipeline in the CRM system
- Engage with engineering and operations teams to provide innovative and efficient solutions to customers
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 2-4+ years sales experience preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing or custom solutions environment desired
- Technically proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM programs
- Refined presentation skills
- Self-motivator with ability to work independently and with others in a team environment
- Strong problem solving, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
