Payroll Specialist
SkyWater Search Partners has been engaged by a recognizable and tenured household name in media and broadcasting. The HR Resources Center of Excellence team is looking to add a Payroll Specialist to support payroll processing for employees across multiple states. The role will report to the Director of HR Operations and will be responsible for the daily payroll needs including tracking deferred compensation, incentives and other benefits, setting up appropriate deductions, and ensuring the timely execution of payroll-related responsibilities. This Payroll Specialist will have the ability to work remotely four days per week, onsite in St. Paul one day per week.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, HR or related field or equivalent work experience
- Three or more years of payroll processing experience
- Multi-state and local tax experience
- Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements in regard to payroll administration and tax reporting
- UltiPro / UKG experience is preferred
