Plant Manager
SkyWater is partnering with a growing client in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area to find their next Plant Manager. This person will be responsible for overseeing plant operations, developing process improvements, managing & growing team members and much more. Our client is a growing manufacturing company that operates globally, but also has a strong presence in Minnesota. We’re looking for someone with demonstrated experience making process improvements, a background in lean manufacturing and experienced growing a team with full P&L responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Oversees daily plant operations across multiple facilities (production, engineering, supply chain, etc.).
- Implement strategies and provide strategic directives for the plant (LEAN).
- Responsible for P&L of the MN locations
- Oversee a team of managers and a large team of indirect reports.
- Implement lean manufacturing policies.
- Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering or similar field
- 8+ years of experience leading and developing teams. 5+ years at the Executive Level ideally
- Experienced in a machining environment
- Knowledgeable in directing LEAN/CI initiatives
- Strong leadership experience
- Ability to prioritize, multitask and manage multiple responsibilities/projects.
